I am sorry, but this is a public relations stunt if there ever was one. If
she really believes that he took as many drugs as he did in that one night as
a first-time, experimental form of recreation she is delusional. It is rare
that anyone goes to that extreme of drug use on the first time. He most
likely had used before, and on this particular night, decided to take it to
another level. The amount of drugs he took is indicative of chronic use that
is rooted in an extreme need to escape, not a slip up at a wild party.

Heart Phoenix continues: "Drugs, including alcohol, are used to soften the
pain of feeling separated from ourselves, each other and love."

I agree with this statement 100%. But if this is true, then she must accept
her role in his feelings of separation from himself, others, and being
unloved. I don't think this is harsh. It is about being fair to River.

Peace,
Toy
