| Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share this with you... Last year my teenage son
watched Stand By Me at school in his Personal Development class. So
it's official - it's a classic! (Like we didn't already know that)

| AWWWWW!!! that's really nice!
when i was read "the body" i went to check out some reviews online.
I found out that they also have kids reading it. it was sort of nice
to hear that, but honestly, i didn't like the book as much as the
movie because i didn't the characters were well defined. did anyone
else notice that?
did you ask your son if he and his friends liked it?

| I watched Stand By Me two years ago in my Drama class. Its because
of my teacher Mr Nicholson that i found out about River. He used to
show that movie every year to his new yr9 class. But now hes left,
he was a fan of River too and i gave him some song lyrics from
Alekas Attic to use in some of his classes, because he liked to get
people to write about what they thought the song meant. I hope they
still carry on showing Stand By Me, because it is such a brilliant
film.
