| What is the best River Phoenix novel? I wanan get a novel bout him.

There are NO novels about River. Are you sure you meant "novel",
which is a long work of fiction?
The best biography avaiable so far is "RIVER PHOENIX: A SHORT
LIFE" by Bryan Robb.
Very soon, however, a new biography of River, written by
Riverfriend Barry Lawrence, will be released. It's called "THE SEARCH
FOR RIVER PHOENIX: THE TRUTH BEHIND THE MYTH".
It is far and away the best book about River.
Keep patience. The text is finished and ready to print. All they
are working on now is the cover art. Stay tuned!

I've only got RIVER PHOENIX: A SHORT LIFE so I can't compare with
other biographies, but in my opinion it is very good, Brian Robb says
a lot about River's movies and what happened the last weeks before
his death.
@Edward: Do you know when THE SEARCH FOR RIVER PHOENIX: THE TRUTH
BEHIND THE MYTH will be released and how I can get it, cause I'm
living in Germany? Thanks.

Hi MYNA!
I don't have an exact date from Barry yet, but since they are
only negotiating for the Pic of River that Barry wants on the cover,
I don't think it can be too much longer.
When the book is ready, Barry will let us all know right here on
ATW. He is setting up a website so that anyone in the world can buy
it directly, and not have to wait till it's published outside the
United States.
BTW: Mea culpa, and before Barry murders me :O  :O, the REAL
title of
the book is "IN SEARCH OF RIVER PHOENIX" rather than "The Search For
River Phoenix."
