i live in brandenburg, near berlin ...
it´s pretty cool that there are still so many german riverfans,
althought he is not that famous here (unfortunately!!!).

I live in Hesse, near Frankfurt.
It is true, River never was and still is not as popular here as he
is and was in the US, but I my opinion, and of course I might be
wrong, he was treated better by the media after his death. I have
read a lot of German articles that spoke highly of him. He was and
is treated very respectfully. At least that is my impression.
