| I was just reading an interview with Udo Kier and was so happy to find this-
Who?s the nicest actor you ever worked with? .
Kier:?I must split it in two ages. The younger one was River Phoenix, and the old one was Martin Landau in `The Adventures of Pinocchio.? When I saw River the first time, I saw myself as a younger actor and person. We stayed friends after the film. I really was very sad when he died. With Martin Landau, we worked three months in Prague. I was fascinated. At dinner he told so many stories, from Marilyn Monroe to James Dean to Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. He has been around for a long time.??

| I read that a few months ago and found it absolutely lovely =). I love Udo, he said very nice things about River.
