| I was wondering did river phoenix have a type of girl he was attracted to i have read so many different things like he liked girls from south america but all 3 of his girlfriends were all blonde blue eyes and very american looking....so was he only attracted to blondes?

| Hi there! I don't know if River had a certain type, I imagine the attraction to others was based on chemistry and meeting of the minds rather than physical attributes. But I did read on IMDB something interesting:
"Claimed he had a vision of his future wife and would meet and marry her in 2002. He carried a composite sketch of what he thought she'd look like."
I don't know how reliable the source is but if it is true then I'd love to see the picture.

| Sundance, I do agree...attraction is in most cases based on much more than the body and the way a person looks.
My friend Sassy told me the story about that picture some days ago...I think nobody really knows what's true about the story....but does anyone know where that picture - story about River's future wife comes from? Would be interesting...

| I read Barrys book and it said that the picture was actually a sketch of his half sister not of his future wife but he seemed to only date blondes but i read a story about a man that said he was attracted to woman from south america latin girls so i get confused since there are so many different stories out there???? oh well......
